The start of the music video shows Nicki sitting on a throne chair, wearing a crown, catering to her self-proclaimed “Queen of Rap” title.
Nicki holds court with her royal family, Drake and Lil Wayne, in the majestic video for “No Frauds.”
Directed by Benny Boom, the fashionable clip is a trip across the pond. Featuring scenes shot in London and in the U.S., the video also showcases Young Money’s reunited and renewed energy as “The Big Three.”
One of the biggest surprises of the visual is the appearance of Rashida Ali, who was a friend of Remy’s on Love & Hip Hop New York before their falling out. It looks like Nicki pulled out all the stops for the video to make sure the Bronx native hears her clap back loud and clear.
Decked out in Alexander McQueen, Philipp Plein, and Charbel Zoe, “No Frauds” finds DeGeneres Queen ruling her kingdom. Whether sitting on her throne or in front of Big Ben, throwing shots next to Drizzy, or on a throne next to Weezy, Minaj makes her royal statement clear.
