Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton and director Rob Reiner (“When Harry Met Sally” and “The American President”) have teamed up to bring you this syrupy family comedy about a severely crass realtor (Douglas), his easy-going and overly-tolerant neighbor (Keaton) and the innocent granddaughter he’s never met but now has to take care of.

Judging by the trailer, “And So It Goes” feels like a weird combination of Billy Crystal’s “Parental Guidance” and Nancy Meyers’ “Something’s Gotta Give.” So, for anyone over 60, this just became their must-see movie of the summer.

Penned by “As Good as It Gets” scribe Mark Andrus and co-starring veteran comic actress Frances Sternhagen (TV’s “Cheers”) as a spunky chain-smoking senior, “And So It Goes” will be going into theaters on July 11th.
