Rapper Tyler, the Creator, of the hip-hop collective Odd Future was arrested this weekend at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for a misdemeanor charge of inciting a riot earlier in the week during a South by Southwest concert.

The Austin Police Department took the 23-year-old artist, born Tyler Gregory Okonma, into custody Saturday and released him on a $25,000 bond. He played a sold-out show in Dallas later that day.

The artist, whose real name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, could face up to six months in jail if convicted of a charge of riot, a class-A misdemeanor.

“I DONT WANT TO CAUSE ANY TROUBLE, SOME ARE MAKING ME OUT TO BE A BAD GUY, SO IM NOT DOING ANY SHOWS TONIGHT,” the rapper said on his Twitter page.
